Introduction to Board Development and Governance Process

These practices include creating a vision; using data; setting goals; monitoring progress and taking corrective action; creating urgency; engaging community; connecting with district leadership; fostering and open, inquiry-focused culture; investing in staff development; developing policy with a focus on student learning; and practicing unified governance.
