Estimated Time to Complete: 1 hour

Presenters: Betsy Apolito, Director SST 10 and Dr. Kurt Schulze, Curriculum Coordinator, Trotwood Madison City Schools

In this one-hour session, participants working in educational settings will explore how to apply the Cause Mapping® method, a structured visual problem-solving approach, to real-life issues in schools and districts (e.g., low student engagement, schedule disruptions, assessment errors, instructional breakdowns, attendance issues). Drawing on the principles of systems thinking, cause-and-effect relationships and visual communication, the session will help teams clarify problems, map underlying causes, and begin designing meaningful solutions.
