Increasing Collective Capacity Using OLAC’s Gifted Education Professional Development Series

OLAC’s Gifted Education Professional Development Series was developed in collaboration with the Gifted Advisory Council, the Ohio Leadership Advisory Council, and the Ohio Department of Education, with contributions from national experts with graduate preparation and licensure in gifted education. The courses address the purposes and objectives specified in the Ohio Department of Education, Gifted Education Professional Development Resource Guide (2017). Join Denise Hunt, Supervisor of Gifted & Talented Programs, Ashtabula ESC and OLAC leadership and become familiar with the two courses and hear how one practitioner uses the courses to enhance professional capital. Participants will be able to engage with presenters to share what works in their districts, as well as learning how OLAC’s modules can be used by teacher-based teams to improve outcomes for all learners.

You can download a document that includes all content from the module, with the exception of videos. This resource can support your learning while completing the module or be saved for future reference.
